ECOWEEK is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) established in Greece in 2005 and active in 10 countries in Europe and the Middle East. Its mission is to raise environmental awareness and promote the principles of sustainability. ECOWEEK organizes programs and activity on environmental protection and 'green' buildings for young and established professionals and students.

ECOWEEK CONFERENCES & 'GREEN' DESIGN WORKSHOPS for young and established professionals - architects, designers, landscape architects, engineers etc. - and students take place in difference cities and countries around the world since 2008. More

ECOWEEK GREENHOUSE, established in 2011, is a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship for society and the environment for young professionals and students. The GREENHOUSE, develops and implements real projects in real sites addressing real issues and offeris real solutions to local communities.

The ECOWEEK NETWORK established in 2011, has members in more than 30 countries.

Since 2005 ECOWEEK has been inviting internationally acclaimed speakers, expert architects, landscape architects and engineers to lecture about their work, explain how 'green' buildings work and how to design and operate them; also, to lead ECOWEEK workshops and share their experience, expertise and skills with other professionals, young professionals and students; to inspire and to network.
