Francoise-Helene
Jourda | Jourda
Architectes, France
Francoise-Helene Jourda is an award-winning architect
Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Legion d'Honneur, and a Knight
of the Order of Arts and Letters. She has been teaching
Architecture since 1979, at the Ecole d'Architecture de
Lyon, France, Ecole d'Architecture de Saint-Etienne, France,
the School of Architecture in Oslo, Norway, University
of Minessota, USA, the Polytechnic of Central London,
UK, the Technical Universiity of Kassel, Germany, and
since 1999 at the Technical University of Vienna, Austria.
Architecte Jourda is the Director of the Institute and
Chair "Design Space", University of Vienna, Austria, she
is a member of the German Academy of Fine Arts, "Akademie
der Kunste Member of the Academy of Architecture Commissioner
of the French Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale,
2004, Listener Round of High Studies for Economic Development
(CHED) 2003/2004 Professor of International Academy of
Architecture, and was nominated for the "Global Award
for Sustainable Architecture". Architecte Jourda practices
architecture at her firm JAP(Jourda Architectes Paris)
and she heads the company EO-CITE, an architecture and

Ivan
Redi Director | ORTLOS Space Engineering, Austria &
UK
Ivan Redi is principal of ORTLOS Space Engineering
based in London and Graz, founded in 2000 as a network
of interdisciplinary partners. Within the trans-disciplinary
framework of ORTLOS projects, which constantly expand
the boundaries of classical architectural fields by using
cutting-edge technologies, there is a strong emphasis
on advanced environments, energy efficiency and regenerative
architecture. Their work has been published and exhibited
worldwide. Mr. Redi is currently teaching at Graz University
of Technology, Bartlett University College London and
lectures around the world. In collaboration with graphic
design legend David Carson, ORTLOS has published the book
"ORTLOS" and recently have developed an iPhone Application
"Gandis", which supports energy-efficient design of buildings.

Hans
Buster Director | Vitaverde , Greece & Serbia
After completing a Master degree in organizational
psychology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Hans
Buster worked as business consultant for different companies
such as Philips, Heineken, Red Bull, Cap Gemini Ernst
& Young and TNT. Also he worked as project manager at
Wageningen University and as MBA lecturer at the Institute
of Management and Entrepreneurship of Southeastern Europe.
As founder of Vitaverde he specialized in solutions of
building-integrated vegetation such as vertical gardens,
roof gardens, interior and exterior gardens taking into
account the advantages they have for buildings, people
and our environment. Projects he is currently involved
in are the design and creation of vertical gardens in
Serbia and in branches of the National bank of Greece
as well as the creation of roof gardens in different urban

Branimir
Jovanovic, Founder | Centar Tesla, Serbia
Branimir Jovanovic has been a Researcher and later
a Director of Nikola Tesla museum in Belgrade. With his
extensive engagement, he became one of the biggest experts
on Nikola Tesla doctrine and philosophy behind genuine
sustainability of modern civilisation. Mr. Jovanovic is
a Founder of Centre Tesla - Competence Center for Sustainable
Development, as well as a lecturer, professor and Director
of Alterenergo, a company for consulting and engineering

Nikolaos
Dimitriadis | Touchpoint, Serbia
Dr. Nikolaos (Nikos) Dimitriadis has been practicing,
teaching and researching Marketing and Communications
for all his adult life. He was a Lecturer in Marketing
at Sheffield University Management School where he was
announced by MBA students as the best lecturer of the
program in 2004 and he lectures regularly in South-East
Europe with the Sheffield MBA program in the region. He
has also trained entrepreneurs and managers by delivering
courses, speeches and seminars directly to the business
community. He received his PhD from the University of
Sheffield in 2006. His research papers and professional
opinion have been presented at several national and international
conferences, in corporate and industry events, and published
in various academic journals, business magazines and other
media. In recent years, Nikos enjoyed a 360o experience
in practicing marketing since he worked both on the client
and agency sides. His marketing and communications consulting
office, Touchpoint, is located in Belgrade covering all
Southeast Europe. |

ECOWEEK speakers
ECOWEEK has initiated, invited and hosted
lectures by a number of internationally acclaimed speakers,
specialists and leaders in their field. Among the ECOWEEK
distinguished speakers are Nobel Laureate and former
US Vice President Al Gore, speaker at ECOWEEK
2007 on Global Warming, at the Athens Concert Hall in
June 2007 (in cooperation with Megaron Plus); UK explorer
and leadership expert Robert Swan, OBE ECOWEEK
2007 opening keynote speaker, at the Benaki Museum in
Athens (in cooperation with the British Council).
Since ECOWEEK 2010 ECOWEEK keynote speakers included
award-winning architects Diebedo Francis Kere, Bjarke
Ingels of BIG, award-winning architect Francoise-Helene
Jourda, architect Daniel Pearl (L'OEUF, Canada),
architects Elena Barthel and Daniel Wicke
of the Rural Studio, award-winning architect
George Hargreaves, environmentalist and 'green'
design expert Prof. David W. Orr (Oberlin College),
German architect Ulf Meyer of Ingenhoven Architects,
and Danish architect Louis Becker of Henning
Larsen Architects.
'ECOWEEK 2009: Empowering Youth: Ecology + Leadership
+ Architecture' International Conference in Athens,
hosted keynote lectures by award-winning architect Shigeru
Ban, and UK award-winning architect Ivan Harbour
(Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners).
'ECOWEEK 2008: Ecology + Environment + Architecture'
International Conference in collaboration with AIAContinental
Europe, keynote speakers were 'green' skyscraper and
author architect Ken Yeang, and Landscape Designer
Julie Bargmann, at the Cotsen Hall of the American
School of Classical Studies in Athens. In 2008 ECOWEEK
also hosted the director of the architectural documentary
Last Call for Planet Earth Jacques Allard,
award-winning Greek architect Alexandros Tombazis
and others.
